Where Have You Gone, Robert Reich? A Nation Turns Its Lonely Eyes To You. (Woo Woo Woo)

I have great respect for the insights of Robert Reich, former secretary of labor during the Clinton administration. Though partisan, he’s not blindly so, and I find him humorous, straight forward, and insightful. His commentaries can be heard on Public Radio’s Marketplace, and his writings can be viewed at RobertReich.org.

Reich recently wrote a great overview of the current economic recovery, the impact of President Bush’s tax cuts, and our budget deficit. He actually does the one thing no one else seems to want to do: put figures and data into context so a rational comparison can be made to help determine the actual state we’re in.
